Greetings
Hello. I am Dr. Arima. We started the consultation of pediatrics & pediatric surgery on June 18, 2018, at the Tobata Kyoritsu Hospital (Health Screening Center building). I am a pediatric surgeon, and we offer outpatient general care, cooperating with pediatricians in our regional community. In addition to general pediatric care, we would like to offer the support for “Inguinal hernia”, “Umbilical hernia” (protruding navel) and other surgical diseases. Besides, as for the diseases of other professional areas such as Otorhinolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat department), Ophthalmology (Eye department), Orthopedics and Neurosurgery, we support patients cooperating with the doctors in our region, including those of Tobata Kyoritsu Hospital.

Vascular Surgery & Leg Vascular Disease
Hidetoshi Akashi, M.D., Ph.D., has worked as the advisor to Department of Surgery and the director of Vascular Surgery at Tobata Kyoritsu Hospital since April 1st, 2018.
Overview
In addition to regular Vascular Surgery, we treat “Leg Vascular Disease”. If the patient feels discomfort in their legs (aching pain, swelling, darkening of the skin, heaviness, numbness or itching, etc.), we conduct our treatment for the patient cooperating with other departments such as Orthopedic, Dermatology and Plastic Surgery. We also offer consultation about abdominal aortic aneurysm, arteriosclerosis obliterans, varicose veins and all cardiovascular diseases.
